First of all, the most important question:
What is it all about? What is "Project 30"?Well, "long story short" would be too easy - but it's about getting older...yes, it might happen sometime in the future (2009) that I turn older
Crisis? 
No, not at all...but time to do some (beware of
consulting phrases)
mid-term planningor for all non-consultants: Think about what to do within the next one or two years. What do I want to do? What do I want to achieve? Where do I want to stand in two to three years from now?
It took me some time, but than an idea was born
Idea? 
Basis for my idea has been - yes, lets name it - my "
fitness level" or what's left from it... Let's don't go into much detail here...that would be too much honesty! But I lost quite some "
power" over nearly three years working for a consulting company now and instead gained some weight.
Okay, here is the (beware of another
consulting phrases)
action plan for 2009:
42km 
Run a marathon, which will be 42.195km, to be exact - and to be able to do that at all, there will be quite some training involved. And the training for a marathon, will hopefully increase my "
fitness level" significantly.
Date and location for the run is not yet fixed, but it will be in the first half of the year - due to the other action item on the list (above).
